Minnesota Vikings rookie Jaylen Twyman shot four times and is expected to make a full recovery

Minnesota Vikings rookie defensive tackle Jaylen Twyman was shot four times while visiting his aunt in Washington D.C. Twyman’s Agent Drew Rosenhaus released a statement saying, “in talking to him today, he’s going to be ok, that’s all that matters. We’re thankful he’s ok. He will make a full recovery.” Rosenhaus also said Twyman getting shot was the “wrong place, wrong time.”

Rosenhaus said Twyman was shot in his car and sustained some exit wounds and won’t need surgery. Minnesota drafted Jaylen Twyman with the 199th pick in the 2020 NFL draft. Twyman did opt out of last season, so he is expected to make his pro debut sometime during the 2021 NFL season.
