The 3 best team fits for QB Malik Willis

As the NFL Draft keeps creeping closer, the anticipation of all NFL fans continues to grow higher, especially for all the teams who do not have a sure starter at QB for next season. This article will show the top 3 best landing spots for one of the best QB prospects in this year’s NFL draft in Malik Willis.

             1. Pittsburgh Steelers

Of course, the Steelers are a fit for Malik Willis at this time. After the Steelers,  long-time QB Ben Roethlisberger retired after his 18th season, the Steelers are looking for the next man up. The Steelers are a good fit for Malik Willis because of the offensive pieces the Steelers already have; Diontae Jonhson, Chase Claypool, and Najee Harris are all featured weapons on offense. If they draft Willis, the biggest issue the Steelers need to address is the offensive line. Bringing in a couple of offensive linemen through free agency and the draft would help that issue. Protecting Willilis should be priority number one if the Steelers decide to draft Willis.

            2. Denver Broncos

The next fit for Malik Willis is the Denver Broncos. This move for Denver makes sense because Denver still does not have a consistent quarterback. Last season Teddy Bridgewater was their starter (through 14 games); he had a stat line of 3,052 passing yards, 18 passing touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. So, drafting a player that has upside like Malik Willis where he has Dual-threat abilities. Pair that up with running back Javonte Williams and some nice targets such as Courtland Sutton, jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, and Noah Fant, Denver’s offense will be headed in the right direction next season.

      3. Washington Commanders

The final fit for Malik Willis is the Washington Commanders. Washington would be a good fit for Malik Willis because the commanders do not have a consistent quarterback. Last season Taylor Heinicke had a stat line of 3,419 passing yards, 20 passing touchdowns, and 15 interceptions. Washington has some good targets for utilizing Willis’s skill set, like Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel (when healthy), and Antonio Gibson. Washington could be in good hands if Willis can work well with pieces Washington has on offense.
